Hazel's mom and dad met at the Battle Masion where they were competitors, after her mom won against her father introduced himself to her and spoke fondly about how it was love at first Fight. When they realized they both lived in Lumiose city, her father asked her out for coffee.
Childhood: After Hazel's parents had married her mother and father moved to Vaniville town when Hazel was 6, and retired from Pokemon battling. Her mother worked in Lumiose city still at the Specialty evolution stone store, and her father stayed at home and raised her. She has a very close relationship with both her parents, but leans heavily on her mother for battling advice. Hazel's mother would take her out when she was young and battle wild Pokemon in Santalune Forest, thus sparking a passion for specialty training in Hazel.
